Kristyn Dion Daney was born to Mr. Sam and Mrs. Evelyn Lessington of New York City, New York. He loves to praise God in a dance and to worship Him with his whole heart.

Kristyn accepted the Lord as his personal Lord and Savior at the very tender age of 7. At that appointed time, he acknowledged the mandate and calling on his life. He graduated High School in 2002 from the Choir Academy of Harlem, NY (the home of “The Boys Choir of Harlem”). He later graduated from Winston Salem State University in 2006 where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. In 2012, He received his Master’s Degree in Information Technology. In 2014, he received his Master’s Degree in Middle Grades Mathematics all from Winston Salem State University, Winston Salem, NC. In 2018 he received his Master’s Degree in SchoolAdministration from North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC. He attended Vintage Bible School in 2007, Winston Salem, NC. Currently he is enrolled at Capella University, Minneapolis, MN where he is an honor roll student, pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership.

At the age of 21, Kristyn gave God a “YES”, and accepted the call to preach the gospel. After training and teaching, he preached his initial sermon on August 7, 2007 at Greater Tabernacle Worship Center, Winston-Salem, NC while under the tutelage and ministry care of Apostle B.J. McCloud. Elder Daney was ordained as an Elder in April 2011 by Apostle B.J. McCloud. As of June 11, 2022 he married the love of his life, Latricia Renee Malloy. On August 1, 2021, Elder Daney was elevated and ordained to the Office of Pastor by the hand and seal of His Grace, The Honorable Bishop Phillip G. McCloud, Sr. who is the Senior Pastor of Greater Tabernacle Worship Center, Winston Salem, NC Since then, he stands firm on 2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the word, be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine”.

Overseer Daney is determined to do just what God has called him to do in the earth. Overseer Daney is a firm believer that if you “Trust in the Lord with ALL thine heart, and lean not to thine OWN understandings; In ALL thy ways acknowledge God and HE WILL direct thy paths.”
